X-Files the movie 2???

will there be a 2nd x files movie? who will be in it?

Rumor has it that it'll be shot at the original Vancouver location for seasons 1-5 (aka the golden age of the X-Files), which is heartening news. In my opinion, the show started going downhill once it moved to LA.

Anyway, Mulder and Scully are confirmed to be in it, I have no idea about Doggett and Reyes (I hope not), but it's probably a good bet that Skinner will be returning.

I can't wait. :)

i thought there was already a second and a third, maybe im just confusing the tv series dvd's up with movies

Yeah, there has only been one movie so far - Fight the Future - that came after the end of the 5th season. (It rocked, too.)

The TV show itself went on for 9 seasons.

for some reason even though i like the X-files series a lot, i dont think i have ever seen the mvoie, but i did see that one where scully gets stung by a bee, then she gets taken somewhere at the end mulder finds her in a UFO with a lot of other people in these pods, but i dont know if that was a couple of continued episodes or a movie.

That would be the movie. :)

I didnt know it was called "Fight the Future" that name doesnt even really fit

actually the name does fit, it means that the future is the aliens, because they will soon colonize earth. this means that humans must fight them, aka, fight the future

Think everything important has already been said, but i think that is the next most anticipated movie for me.

I'm looking forward to more of the X-Flies, even though the last season (ok, last two) weren't the greatest....

As long as the movie has both Mulder and Scully, I'll be happy :D

Its unfortunate that the series got weak like you said in the last two seasons, largely on account of duchovny's leaving, but hopefully they'll recapture what it once was in the upcoming movie(s - i hope)
