The Mach 4 jet

the Mach 4 jet is a jet i designed based on the SR-71 Blackbird (fastest jet in the world) i'll have the full description and the picture when the internet on my home computer is back up working,

This may sound rude, but why don't you wait with posting untill your home computer is working? I don't get the purpose of this thread at all...

because my home computer internet wont be working for about a week,i was mainly talking about the picture of the enigine



Ramjet operation:
Air is drawn into overly large intakes at around mach 2.5 where it is funneled into a vector tunnel by natural processs of the funnel the air becomes highly pressurised then further down the vector tunnel the air is mixed with roket fuel (hydrogen,oxygen) this mix goes farther down the tunnel where it enters the ombusion chamber which is highly pressurized as well, by this point the air has slowed to around mach 2 and the internal pressure is about 4,000 per square in, the mix is ignited and is released with that of a large explosive or small bomb, if the plane/jet is not completely ripped apart in this process the resulting energy should boost the plane up to around mach 4.2, granted this is only after the plane has reached 2,000 mph (or mach 2) and up until this point the turbines operate the same as any other jet engine

only part of this has actually been "calculated" the rest mainly the intial ignition of the fuel has not so im not sure if it would give off that much power, and on a side note the SR-71 is only the fastest Air intake jet, the X-15 reached a speed of Mach 6.7 but it was rocket powered

does it do microwave too ? I gotta need one.

I was wondering, do you use shaving cream, or do you get the same effect when just shaving with water. Since I heard you have these shave-machines that can sahve with just water.. Do you know anythin about that?

Citric juice? I can't say I have ever tried that.. Does that create the same feeling Neuromancer described, because if it does, I'm going for the citric juice...

shaving cream all the way baby, water tends to leave your skin dry and irritated, cream is specially formatted to take care of your skin and faciliate the shaving process, its really the way to go

heres the diagram (its a work in process :) )

1 = Air intake
2 = Liquid Hydrogen
3 = Liquid Oxygen
4 = Combustion Chamber
5 = width = 12 feet
6 = lenth = 42 feet

you cant see 5 and 6 because the numbers got cut off in the scan
but i think you know what width and lenth are, this is the very first diagram i have made so exuse me for the blandness :D

Well, since you want your shaver to be real tiny, I don't understand why you don't either use solid Hyrdrogen and solid Oxygen, or use as more efficient way of getting energy. Water/Hydrogen is powerful, but it won't get you far...

And we want to shave the whole face, and although Gilette may say they shave everything in one go, we know you'll need at least twe shaves for that soft, tender skin...

im using liquid oxygen and hydrogen because it can be controlled a lot easier than solid, what do you mean it doesnt get you far its used to get the space shuttle into orbit, how much farther can you get

wel unfortunately thats all we have is orbiting right now, for some reason we (the human race) has given up on the moon, we have sent many rovers to mars but the moon has been left untouched since the apollo missions we should be trying to colonize the moon so we know how to do it,

I'm afraid we wont be going to new galaxies for at least a 500 thousand years the milky way is around 100,000 light years across and unless we devise space "ships" that can travel anywhere close to the speed of light then we are going to have one long trip

this mach 4 jet is simply to speed things up here on earth, but unfortunately it wont happen unless we get rid of this futile system of money
