I was just wondering what Manga/Anime films any of you have seen and which one was your favourite if you have.

My favourite would probably be Ghost In The Shell but if it is then Akira is almost alongside it.

my favorite is probaly princess monanoke, it has nothing to do with a princess just a name, second favorite is armitage because its like the matrix but, the humans and robots live together

and i cant remember any more anime movies right now but here are some anime tv shows that are good ( listed from best to worst)

DB-DBZ-DBGT
Inuyasha

Blood the last Vampire (too bad it's so short)
and a couple of DBZ movies (movie 8,10,11 and 12)
lol if it counts the animatrix :p

and i watched all the DBZ episodes and all the DBGT eps

i'm a big fan of Anime and Manga

i realy whant to see Neon Genisis Evangelion
but if i download them from kazaa they don't work.
and there never available at free records shop (not in the shop) and if i check the internet site, it say's temporaly not available (but it's been that for 6 months :( )

Cool, i really want to see Neon Genesis Evangelion aswell i bet it's great. I'm sure that Z.O.E. for the PS2 has been influenced by that film from what i've seen, or the other way around but i doubt anyone will be here who's played the game and seen the film who can confirm. (hopefully i'll be able to do this myself if i can get it, i'm sure i've seen it in a shop in town :p)

Also i want to see Hellsing but i don't know if it's out on DVD and if it is, how many of them there are because it was a series on TV i think. (wasn't on tv around here though.)

Ninja Scroll too because its supposed to be good aswell, ah stuff it i wanna see 'em all! Anime rocks.

where did you see all DBGT episodes, and which ones are you takling about the original japanese versions or the english versions because not all of the english ones are out yet

dragonball Z whas here on tv on Yorin and when all the episodes where showed (3 times)
dragonball GT came on tv, also on Yorin (both in english of course)
but now Yorin stopped showing teen serie's (like dbgt, transformers armada, yugi-o, bey blade ect.) now we get those stupid boring home-shopping programs. :(

and from the dbz movies (8,10,11 and 12) yes they where in japanese. i putted movie 8 and 10 on CD. but sometimes movie 8 won't work because of some DVD format program thing)
11 & 12 i only had on my comp. but i don't have them any more

thats sorta like what happened here they used to show the DBGT (the japanese version) on tv but it just kinda stopped suddenly
but it wasnt replaced with hme shopping programs, it was replaced with i think 24/7 Infomercials at least they come on cartoon network now, even though i just buy the dvd's now dont feel like waiting every week for one episode

dbz/gt is ok but im not much of a fan anymore, it was the first anime i started watching, now i like some of the more how might you say "adult anime" like Big O and Trigun (best anime cartoon imo)

I liked the old Star Blazers cartoon from the 70's.

question what is Manga?

I think 'Manga' is the Japanese name for the comics and 'Anime' is the videos, films etc, but what happened was that a group with the name Manga came along and confused people by making Anime films.
