Matrix Questions (for my new fanfic)

I am writing a fanfic, but I wanna make sure that there aren't any mistakes in it, so I need to know a few things. Please answer, even if you know only one answer.

1.
How long is it from the beginning of the first movie to the end of the seond movie?

2.
Is the Merovingian a program or human?

3.
Is Persephone program or human?

4.
If you slip the red pill( the one that gets you out of the matrix) into someone's food, what would happen?

5.
Are the people that work at the Merovingian's nightclub human or programs?

6.
Is the name of Neo's boss mentioned in the movie? If so, what is it?

7. In which city/town does the Matrix play?

4 is wrong, it is the red pill that gets you out of the matrix

4: the red pill blocks your input - out put signal so they can find your body in the power plant.
the blue pill makes you fall asleep and you wake up knowing nothing.

1. I don't know what you are time asking for. But for the characters in these films expired about 1,5 year.

2. He is a program from older version of matrix.

3. She is a program she came to matrix with Merovingian.

4. You mean the Red Pill. I don't know. But basing on Neo's experiences. The person who would eat that, would probably be dead. It is a program that It's designed to disrupt input/output carrier signals so it helps to find the power plant location of the person.

5. The people who work for him are programs.

Cool! Thanks for all the replies! i am gonna put my fanfic up soon, I am just bussy with chracter progiles and such(those are for myself, so taht I know what each of my original chracters like-and I got 7)


Just one last question(or so I think):
If you are pregnant in the Matrix, and you get unplugged when you are pregnant, are you still pregnant outside the Matrix?

Oh, and when you get a burn mark, is that visible outside the Matrix?

Ok, another question, what would happen if you'd feed the red pill to a program, like the Merovingian?

1. the time in which m1 takes place is 18 months. we dont know exactly how long m2 is, but we assume it's only a few days because the majority of the movie is fight scenes that happen within a relatively short time frame
7. when smith interrogates neo in m1, we see his criminal record for a split second. it says he was born in "lower downtown, capitol city" so we assume the movie takes place somewhere in capitol city. we know there are mountains north of the city, as indicated by link when neo calls him from the mountains: "in the middle of the city, 500 miles due south"

to answer your last question, i believe if a program took the red pill, members of the resistance such as morpheus could track its location in the matrix.

i thought the city that they showed looked a lot like san francisco, but everything else was sydney

hummm i know that the matrix movies are made in australia. but still the city can be new york (or a other big american city) in the movie

In an interview at the Matrix website (www.whatisthematrix.com), it is stated that the Matrix world consists of one big city and surrounding mountains. That's it. It's modeled after large cities, probably American ones since the WB are from Chicago, but isn't one particular city.

The matrix's city is "Metropolis City," but as KEANU Holic said, one of the sections of that city is "capitol city."

Will his program go weird or will it be unvisible?

Whatever you want it to do, my dear. :) That's the great thing about fanfics-- you can change things as you want.

Ofcourse I will! And I'll probably put it on fanfiction.net too.


But I am trying to make sure it isn't a Mary Sue or a Gary Sue. So it might take a while.....
