Where is the Matrix going?

now that the third movie is out where is the matrix going? of course the matrix will live on forever. i just wonder what is going to happen now. the concept of not continueing the matrix is wrong. i hope they bring out more matrix movies because it cant end. i feel like i am just waiting, for it to continue. if any of all yea know anything about the matrix being continued it would be nice if yea could reply. thanx. out

The Matrix will slowly fade into nothingness, when finally no one remembers it, and the universe will collapse into the Big Crunch.

In the Big Crunch, time itself will collapse, so the Matrix will not live forever.

The continuation of the Matrix will only mean more commersialisation and more attempts to satisfy the mainstream. The last two attempts failed miserably (evidence piece one: m3; evidence peace two: m3).

The trilogy is ended. Trinity is no more, and Neo would have to be resurrected, when he has been accepted dead by the audience. Continuity would mean further exposure to the mainstream, and further failure to stay true to the hardcore fans.

matrix online will come out, that will be something new and mabey a animatrix 2 to give the left-out info from the 3 movies (or revolutions ending)

It wont be any more movies, but Enter the matrix2 and3 will come out, matrix online and maybe an animatrix2... :PI

they could also me a new matrix movie, but a one that is set a few years before m1

Of course there will be no more movies! That would be wrong... A 4th without the One? Not likely..... Some of us will always remember the Matrix and maybe there'll be a new videogame in a year or so......!

I don't think they're going to make any more movies, the whole idea about a prequel to the Matrix is good but it may just ruin it.. They'll probably come out with an Animatrix 2 but then the Matrix will just bow out of the spotlight again.

MO should be some fun though.

They could make a movie about when the humans and the machines are fighting, almost like final resistance in Animatrix. That would have been cool!!

well i think making a 4th movie would be for the better because of the way the third movie ended. i mean come on who really wanted to see neo die. i think he should of lived. but if they make a 4th one they could find some way so that he wasn't dead and have him kick ***! once agian and end that one alot better. to me that would be a good idea to do.

I would like a movie about the beggining, or even about the continuation, like

"How is the living now that humans and machines are at peace?"
"Are all really happy? Isnt there saboteurs and people wanting it to continue?"
etc.

About neo Death, i think that his death is not entirelly clear, and some would argue that he would still live. I didnt bought his death from what was shown in the movies. Afterall, he was infected like everyone else. Why should he have died and all others survived, since their condition was the same.

In fact M3 was pretty lame , and there is many points that dont bind well togheter.

But Matrix on-line is there, and the world created with Matrix will endure some more years till everyone gets bored.

The best was M1. The rest is the rest.

i felt exactly the same way. i hope they will at least come out with another Animatrix movie. but i hope it never gets old. i hope my great grand kids will want to watch them over and over.

For those that watched the second DVD of M3, you'll know
that they've got big plans for Matrix Online.

It’s supposed to pick up exactly where M3 left off. Kind of like
a never ending saga.

I guess it makes sense now why the W. Brothers ended M3
the way they did (very vague, very open to possibilities). MO
introduces infinite amount of possibilities and it picks up where
M3 ended. The war continues, humans vs humans and humans
vs machines.

I am so excited to get the Matrix online. It will be so awesome. It is a little dissappointing to know that our beloved characters are now in the past but it will be kool to go on as if we are in the matrix.
